3rd rule: Help
others and teach proper form to others, even the strongest or biggest people in
the gym started with little knowledge. Be humble.
4th rule: Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid -Albert Einstein. This also applies in strength training. The 8th rule explains this in another way.
5th rule:
Exercise patience and think of longevity.
6th rule:
Modest gains are better than fast gains. Fast gains can be a shortcut to
injury, and often is.
7th rule:
Everybody has an opinion about strength training. One does not always have to
express it. Be modest.
8th rule:
Strength training has many schools, different training regimes, and goals.
Rejoice in the diversity of strength training, there is no right way. Read this
and contemplate.
9th rule:
Train hard, but not always. Rest and recovery is the true foundation on which
you can build strength.
